The affects and changes covid-19 will have on the reopening of Balmore Kindergarten for our (service users)

Drop off and Pick up of children

We can now allow up to 3 family members within in our reception area at any one time. A staff member will meet you at our reception area where we will then take your child to their playroom. Can all parents/carers please respect the adult physical social distancing guidance that is in place, we will have clear signage in place for you to be able to follow.

Cleaning within the building

During lunch time all our toilets, door's and banisters will be cleaned down ready for our afternoon session beginning.

Children's daily routines

As our children's routines and play resources are becoming more relaxed in line with the guidance, we will maintain risk assessing play room's and keeping a robust sterilising in place.

Face to face meeting's

Following guidelines, we are minimising any face to face meetings, however, please be rest assured that we will make all necessary arrangements to accommodate you and all your needs. Sanitising gel and Protective face masks will be available for anyone who has arrange to gain access to the building. We can now allow show rounds, however this will be limited to the play room areas you are interested in for your child.

Payments

Our preferred payment for nursery fee's is by Bank Transfer, Standing Order or Card Payments via Telephone. Due to data protection GDPR (General data protection regulations) no card details are retained, as they are keyed in at the time of call.

Adult physical social distancing

No physical contact between staff members and other adults can take place such as hugs or hand shaking when greeting. We are asking all adults to respect the social distancing guidelines the Scottish Government have set out; this is currently 1 meter.
